House One Million Ecodeme (HOME) is a company registered in Nigeria for the sole purpose of providing housing solutions to the Nigerian market. It is a purpose driven venture with an ambitious vision of profitably housing one million Nigerians over the next five years (by 2022). This translates to providing 200,000 housing units assuming an average of five persons per household. HOME’s strategy is market driven and is focused on three main areas: Affordable Housing, Student Housing, & Specialized Housing. HOME’s addressable market in Nigeria are individuals with an annual income level between N1.2m and N20m.

HOME’s strategy in Nigeria entails deploying innovative project finance and project management frameworks working with mortgage banks, funding partners, technical and engineering firms, real estate market institutions and other input providers to deliver sustainable and affordable housing solutions. HOME uses a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) model where project sites are chosen in locations proximate to transport infrastructure. HOME has a project pipeline of various stand alone and embedded affordable housing project across Nigeria. Some of HOME’s ongoing projects are in the FCT Abuja, Lagos and Kaduna State.
